Matt Lietzen –
*Senior* *Pastor*

Matt was born and raised in the Midwest, growing up in the Kansas City area. After discerning a call to ministry in high school, Matt has sought to faithfully follow that call wherever God has led him.
From rural Kansas where Matt served as a supply preacher, to Phoenix, Arizona as a ministry intern, to Indianapolis, Indiana as a youth pastor (where Matt also met his wife, Kelsey!), to Washington, DC where Matt completed seminary and served as an Assistant Pastor at McLean Presbyterian Church (where his daughter Emery joined the team!), Matt desires to see the good news of Jesus transform people’s lives for God’s glory and the good of the world.
Matt is excited to participate in what God is doing in urban and university Madison and to bear witness to the truth that Jesus is risen and grace changes everything.

RUBEN ARNDT - WORSHIP TEAM LEAD

Ruben is a Madison native (graduate of East High School!) and is a talented musician. He has been part of Res Pres since the beginning and he contributes greatly to the worship and aesthetic elements of the church.
