Rev. Matt Grimsley
Rev. Matt Grimsley is a southern transplant to the upper Midwest. Originally from Florence, SC, Matt attended Carson-Newman University, a small liberal arts college in East Tennessee (BS in Business Management/Marketing), and then Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL (MDiv in Biblical Studies). Matt spent 11 years (2005-2016) serving as the Associate Pastor and Chief Musician at Redeemer Church in urban and university Knoxville, TN. In August 2016, Matt and his family relocated to plant a church in urban and university Madison in partnership with Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) at the University of Wisconsin. Matt has been married to his wife, April, since 2003 and they have three children: Jackson, Olivia, and Norah. After Jesus and his family, Matt loves sports (especially baseball), music (especially Americana), and movies (recent favorite: A Quiet Place).
